BrandStorytelling today announced its Official Selections – projects to be recognized for their excellence in the brand content/entertainment space - for BrandStorytelling 2025 in Park City, Utah, January 22-25, 2025.

BrandStorytelling conducted an open call for brand-funded film, series, and podcast submissions to be acknowledged at Brand Storytelling 2025, a sanctioned event of Sundance Film Festival. The selection committee, composed of 12 brands, agencies, directors, and thought leaders, reviewed submissions ranging from full-length feature films and documentaries to short films, episodic programs, and podcasts. After careful review, the selection committee extended an invitation to 13 brands and organizations to feature their projects in the BrandStorytelling Virtual Showcase, a content library exclusive to BrandStorytelling participants, where attendees can engage with brands’ content as well as hear directly from the individuals behind the projects in interviews recorded with members of the selection committee.

As audiences shift their viewing habits and streaming consumption rises, brands are reimagining the traditional media landscape and redefining how they engage with customers. BrandStorytelling highlights the ways in which brands' creative and unique storytelling approaches are not only adjusting to match audience behavior, but are improving year over year, as brand content becomes more effective at emphasizing brand values, empathy, and purpose.

“In our fourth year of celebrating projects in a festival submission format, I’m pleased to say that we’ve never seen a stronger overall field of content,” said Jordan Kelley, Content Director at BrandStorytelling. “It’s clear that the non-interruptive tide is rising, and with it is coming a monumental shift in the way that brands create connections with their audiences.”
